Joomla! 1.5.0 released

The Joomla team (joomla! project) proudly announces the release of Joomla 1.5.0 ( joomla 1.5 ) open source CMS on January 21, 2008. This version of Joomla was written from the beginning with PHP 5. and many features were added to it and the problems of its previous version, Joomla 1.0, were fixed

Next, we discuss the changes in Joomla 1.5 :

1. You can clearly see the improvements in the user interface.
2. Global configuration for simpler presentation and more control is considerable.
3. Administrators will find an improvement in the ease of managing the site, a single installer is available for all types of extensions, including languages.
4. Many improvements in the media manager (management of uploaded files on the site).
5. Professional content management.
6. Menu management has been redesigned using simplicity and elegance.
7. One of the most important performance improvements are the search engine friendly URLs that are easily implemented in the global configuration, with SEF URLs, duplicate content generated in the system is eliminated and greatly improves the site's search engine optimization.
