Joomla! 1.0.0 released

Joomla team ( joomla! project ) proudly announces the release of Joomla 1.0.0 ( joomla 1.0 ) open source CMS on September 21, 2005, Joomla version 1 is actually a new packaging of Mambo version. It is 4.5.2.3. In addition to minor changes and fixing security problems, Joomla is a product of Open Source Matters, the same team that wrote Mambo, which won many awards.

Next, we will release Joomla 1.0, the first version of this open source content management system :

1. Changes in the front end to edit the content
2. Changes in management (Administrator Or back end) such as changing the name of the exit button, media management and...
3. A number of minor changes have been made to make Mambelfish easier to use
4. The Solar Flare 2 theme has been refreshed with a new name, Andy Miller has joined forces with Robert Datz to come up with a cool new theme from Joomla's new admin! Toolbar icons in the
5. Administrator toolbar are now shown in full color instead of tinted (which would normally indicate that they are unavailable).
6. A "Check Again" button has been added to the home page of the web installer.
7. Support for PHP 5 and MySQL 4.1
8. Library updates including TinyMCE and RSS updates
9. Always available and usable
10. Joomla developers are always fixing problems and updating it
